We provide support for abused women and children in their homes or in a safe place in the community through our support workers. Women benefit from confidential emotional support and information and tools to help keep themselves and their children safe.

Support workers provide support in the following areas;

  • Safety Planning
  • Support with injunctions
  • Making contact with the police
  • Attending court
  • Accessing safe housing options
  • Referrals to other services/agencies
  • Improve safety of child contact
  • Assistance with welfare rights
  • Assistance with legal support
  • Developing/building self-esteem and confidence
  • Support with budgeting
  • Access to training and/or education
  • Access to professional counselling services
