One of the standout moments for Young Ladies Club in 2024 was our debut appearance at The Business Show.
The landmark 50th edition of The Business Show took place on the 13th and 14th of November at the ExCeL Centre in London. As the world’s largest business event, it attracted over 25,000 SMEs and start-ups, with 750 exhibitors and 350 seminars offering inspiration and insight. We were thrilled to showcase YLC’s mission and impact to such a dynamic and diverse audience.
Our CEO and Founder, Hannah Oyewole, delivered an empowering talk, highlighting how Young Ladies Club is breaking barriers for BME girls in STEM. Her inspiring message shed light on YLC’s role in shattering glass ceilings and creating opportunities for young women in traditionally underrepresented fields.
The event was a great opportunity to meet inspiring individuals, share YLC’s initiatives, and celebrate the accomplishments of women and girls in business.
We are grateful to everyone who visited our stand, engaged in meaningful conversations, and explored ways to support or get involved with the Young Ladies Club. Your enthusiasm and encouragement fuel our commitment to empowering young women through education, mentorship, and leadership development.
As we look to 2025 and beyond, we’re excited to build on this momentum, expand our programmes, and further champion the educational and career potential of young women.
We have lots of exciting events lined up for 2025, including our return to The Business Show, so make sure to keep an eye on our website and socials!
Let’s keep breaking barriers together.
